PRESIDENT/CEO OF FIRST COMMONWEALTH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION NAMED TO THE LEHIGH VALLEYS ‘POWER 100’ LIST
Lehigh Valley, PA (15-March-2022) – First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, a top-ranked credit union in PA by Forbes and leader in financial services innovation and inclusive banking in the Lehigh Valley, is proud to announce its President/CEO, Donna LoStocco, was named as one of the Lehigh Valley’s 100 most influential and powerful people by Lehigh Valley Business for the second year in a row!
The Power 100 list is comprised of business and community leaders whose positions give them the ability to shape our communities and influence our quality of life as determined by a panel of Lehigh Valley Business editors, giving consideration to those who make our laws, build our homes and highways, protect our health and safety, educate our children, support the vulnerable, and provide the spark that inspires innovation and growth. “As a credit union, we are about people, not profits. And at First Commonwealth, we’re on a mission to empower the pursuit of financial happiness for our members, friends, neighbors and communities in the Greater Lehigh Valley. I am humbled and honored to be named to the Power 100 list. Congratulations to my colleagues and fellow honorees, there is power in numbers and by continuing the great work we are all doing, we will have a lasting impact on our community,” said LoStocco.
LoStocco has led First Commonwealth for the last six years, striving to bring accessible, affordable and inclusive financial services and financial education to all individuals, families and businesses in the Lehigh Valley community and has worked tirelessly to empower positive and lasting change and strengthen the local economy. Under her leadership, First Commonwealth has recently surpassed $1 billion in assets, a significant milestone in the credit unions 60+ year history, and has continued to grow, expand its physical footprint (adding two new financial centers within the last two years), enhance its product and services and digital capabilities and introduce a new level of concierge banking to meet the ever-changing needs of its members, all amid a global pandemic. Additionally, under LoStocco’s helm, First Commonwealth has recently launched a “Year of Giving” campaign, which will invest $100,000 back into the local communities throughout 2022.
LoStocco has learned in life that there is no formula for success and that the most successful leaders learn to live with uncertainty. When she is trying to accomplish a daunting task, it’s OK to be scared, she said, but she does it anyway. “Anything that is going to produce lasting positive change is going to be daunting,” she said. In her free time, LoStocco enjoys family dinners and vacations, watching her four grandkids play together and helping humane animal organizations.
