CASE Credit Union Announces Executive Promotions

Singleton, Whitaker named Executive Vice President and Vice President of Lending
LANSING, Mich. — CASE Credit Union recently announced two promotions within its team. Rachael Singleton was named Executive Vice President and Robert Whitaker is the new Vice President of Lending.

In her new role, Singleton will oversee branch operations, the contact center, resolutions, compliance and marketing. She most recently served as CASE Credit Union’s Vice President of Operations. Singleton began her career at CASE in 2012, rising through the ranks as Resolutions Specialist, Assistant Resolutions Manager and Manager of Resolutions. She has more than 13 years of credit union and financial institution experience. The Lansing resident was employed at Michigan State University Federal Credit Union prior to arriving at CASE Credit Union.
“I am dedicated to the credit union movement, and its mission of ‘people helping people,’” she said. “I am excited about how taking on this new role will allow me to focus on CASE’s community outreach, financial literacy, increased technology and services, and the development of our employees. I look forward to working hard to make a positive impact on as many of our members’ and team members’ lives as I can, with an organization that I believe in.”

Whitaker’s new position will allow him to manage consumer, mortgage and business lending. Previously, Whitaker served as Business Services Manager at CASE overseeing business lending, monitoring business loan portfolios, and identifying and cultivating potential and existing members who require business lending services. In addition, he provided guidance for a wide array of business deposit services. With more than 25 years in the financial services sector, Whitaker’s goal is to have CASE Credit Union be the first financial institution business owners think of when evaluating their financial needs.
“I hope to use my many years of experience to help members and businesses when they need it most,” he said. “We are in a crucial time right now; and CASE is able to invest in its members, giving them the resources they need to succeed and build a bright future for their families and our community.”
