Golden 1 Credit Union Recognized as a Forbes’ Best-in-State Employer - Credit union named to list for second consecutive year
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 26, 2020 – Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) announced today it received recognition as one of Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers in California. This is the second year Forbes has released this list, which ranks America’s best employers by state and includes all 50 states plus the District of Columbia.
Companies were selected based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 80,000 employees working for organizations with at least 500 employees in the U.S. Golden 1 is the only credit union based in California to make the list the past two years, and is one of three credit unions included nationwide this year.

Forbes worked with the marketing research company Statista to identify organizations that were liked best by their employees and have what it takes to attract and retain top talent.

Employees were chosen anonymously to participate in the survey.
