Workers Credit Union Invests in Technology Leadership to Advance AI Innovation and Member Experience

LITTLETON, Mass. (September 16, 2026) – Workers Credit Union has strengthened its technology leadership team with the appointment of Rob Thacher as Senior Vice President of Technology and AI Innovation and the expanded role of Glen Edwards as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Digital Platforms. These appointments reflect the credit union's continued investment in technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence to deliver more personalized, seamless, and secure member experiences while improving operational efficiency across the organization.

Thacher will lead technology, software engineering, product development, intelligent automation, and AI engineering enablement. Before joining Workers Credit Union, he co-founded BankShift, a company focused on helping credit unions and community banks modernize technology to support embedded banking, branded banking, and loyalty use cases. He previously held senior technology leadership roles at Capital One and Fiserv and is best known for his work delivering CreditWise from concept to launch.
Edwards, who joined Workers Credit Union in 2020, will lead enterprise technology strategy, architecture, platform direction, and AI governance. He has played a key role in advancing the organization's modernization efforts and aligning technology investments with long-term business priorities.
Together, Thacher and Edwards will guide Workers Credit Union's next phase of modernization, ensuring technology investments create meaningful value for members, employees, and the communities the credit union serves.
