Sun East Selects AJ Filipas as Chief Lending & Revenue Officer
Aston, PA — Sun East Federal Credit Union has selected AJ Filipas to serve as its new Chief Lending & Revenue Officer.

AJ embodies the collaborative, people-first culture we value, and his leadership will undoubtedly elevate the experience we deliver to our members and community,” says Debbie Cook, President/Chief Executive Officer.Filipas is a results-driven financial services executive with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience across consumer and commercial lending, product development, and enterprise strategy. Prior to joining Sun East, he served as Vice President, Commercial & Consumer Lending for Dover Federal Credit Union. Throughout his career, Filipas has also served in various leadership roles at PenFed Credit Union, Currency Capital, Ally Financial, Wells Fargo Bank, and JP Morgan Chase.

Filipas earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Communications from Adelphi University in New York. He is also a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
