Digital Storefront Announces Board of Industry Leaders
FinTech, Strategy,
and Emerging Technology Leaders that have served CUs and Banks
New York, N.Y. – Digital Storefront (fka CuneXus), a data-driven marketing platform
that helps financial institutions personalize member engagement and drive
growth, today announced its Board of Directors following its acquisition by
Demopolis from TruStage. The Digital Storefront Board brings together a group
of highly-talented individuals to guide its strategic roadmap into 2026 and
beyond. These new board members have a wealth of industry expertise,
particularly in digital transformation, technology innovation, and financial
solutions for community financial institutions.
The Chairman of the
Board is Santo Cannone, and board members include Lamont Black, Brian Brunner,
Kathy Groves, Marcell King, Wayne Miller and Scott Sommer.

Santo Cannone is a partner at Demopolis Equity Partners, an
impact-oriented private equity fund. In
addition, he is Board Chair of the Tampa Bay Wave, a leading accelerator
program that helps early-stage tech companies build, launch, and grow. His
experience includes leading product, sales and operations at FIS, Open Solutions,
Fiserv and ConnectWise. Cannone is on
the board of several industry leading technology companies including Tyfone, a
digital banking provider and United Solutions, one of the oldest and largest
technology cooperatives serving credit unions.
Lamont Black is an educator, speaker, and author
with expertise in AI, stablecoins, and the tokenization of finance. He is CEO
and founder of Wide Open Ventures, advising financial institutions on the
rapidly evolving ecosystem from both banking and technology perspectives. His
background includes roles as Associate Professor of Finance at DePaul
University, Research Fellow at Filene, Economist at the Federal Reserve, and
Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University.
Brian Brunner previously served as Vice Chair of the Board for Codorus Valley
Bancorp, after a successful merger of equals (MOE) and is now a Board Member at
Orrstown Financial, the holding company for Orrstown Bank. He sits on the
Advisory Board of ICI Consulting. He brings extensive leadership experience
from his executive roles at Fiserv and NCR Corporation, where he helped shape
strategies for financial technology and banking solutions. Brunner is also the
co-founder of Genesis Core Systems, a provider of advanced core banking
solutions for community banks.
Kathy Groves has a rich history in banking spending
almost 20 years at Jack Henry and Associates in leadership positions. Her
operational insight and commitment to delivering value has made her a trusted
advisor to credit unions throughout the U.S.
She was also with FIS, Summit Information Systems, and Users, Inc. She began her career as Information
Technology Operations Manager at Navy Orlando Federal Credit Union.
Marcell King is Partner and Head of Portfolio Company
Strategy at Demopolis Equity Partners. King has more than 30 years experience
in Fintech and eCommerce. He is
currently President and COO of Nuuvia, the leading provider of youth banking
solutions for community banks and credit unions. Prior to joining Nuuvia, King
was Chief Commercial Officer at Tyfone. He was also Chief Innovation Officer at
Payveris, a next generation provider of digital payment solutions for financial
institutions; VP Merchant and International Sales, Digital Solutions for
Incomm; and held several senior leadership positions at Giftango Corporation,
Amazon and Open Solutions (now Fiserv DNA).
Wayne Miller is a results focused leader dedicated to
driving high value through corporate innovation and helping early stage
companies evolve. He is EVP and Chief Innovation office at the ICBA.
Miller is on the faculty at The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, and is
a General Partner at BankTech Ventures. He was also Executive Director at The
Venture Center. Miller has founded several technology companies in technology
verticals.
Scott Sommer is Co-Founder and Chairman of Cornerstone
Advisors (www.crnrstone.com), where he has spent nearly 25 years guiding
financial institutions on strategy, technology, and performance. Previously, he
held leadership roles in consulting and technology, practiced law, and served
as General Counsel for a software firm. He serves on the Board of Franklin and
Marshall College and has held board positions at Kinective and H
Bancorp/Sunwest Bank.
