SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union Names Michael Pfau SVP of Digital Experience
Tustin, Calif. – SchoolsFirst Federal
Credit Union, the largest credit union in
California and the largest serving school employees and their families, has
hired Michael Pfau in the new role of Senior Vice President of Digital
Experience. With more than 1 million Members using online and mobile banking
each month, Pfau and his team will focus on these crucial digital platforms to
meet the evolving needs of Credit Union Members.

with a background in the financial services industry, Michael is well equipped
to lead the Credit Union’s digital transformation into the future.”
Michael brings deep expertise in digital strategy, product
development and scalable infrastructure transformation. Most recently, he
served as the chief digital officer at Axos Financial. As a financial services
executive, he has led the design and launch of proprietary banking platforms,
driven digital-first initiatives and built high-performing teams to support
rapid growth. His leadership has delivered measurable results in operational
efficiency and long-term scalability. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in
Applied Economics from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Finance
from Johns Hopkins University.
