Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union Appoints Jeffery L. Miles as COO & EVP


Bowie, MD, - Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union (PGCFCU) continues to advance its leadership by appointing Jeffery L. Miles as its new Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.

Miles comes to the credit union with over 30 years of financial services experience, including financial analysis, management, and executive leadership roles at Wachovia, Wells Fargo, BB&T, and Truist Bank. Jeffery was a Vice President at BB&T Bank from 2012 to 2024, during the transition to Truist, where he was responsible for the overall performance of a branch network. Until his recent appointment, he also served as a VP Commercial Banker with Truist where he managed relationships with commercial clients having up to $75 million in annual revenue.

Miles shares, “As a Prince George’s native, I am eager to join the credit union as both a resource and advocate for the credit union’s team and members. My corporate banking experience will help drive revenue and reach operational efficiencies that will positively impact credit union members and the overall Prince George’s community.

“Jeff’s dynamic experience in commercial lending, project management and branch operations is valuable to the credit union’s aim to provide solid solutions and services to Prince George’s County residents and businesses. I am happy to work alongside him as we lead the organization with prowess and intentionality,” says PGCFCU Chief Executive Officer Diane Coleman Brown.

Miles serves on several boards, including the Bi-County Business Roundtable Advisory Board and the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce. He is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is a candidate for a Master’s in Finance and Information Security.
