Put your feet up!

BY TIM O’ HARA

Welcome to the February issue of CU BUSINESS eMagazine.  As we always do at this time of year, we held it back one week to coincide with this week’s opening of CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C., for great reading on the plane, in the hotel room between sessions, anytime and anywhere with our digital delivery.

I hope you’ll put your feet up and enjoy perusing this well-balanced collection of articles written by seasoned industry experts.  The expansive editorial range includes many key factors in your credit union’s continued success and reads like a menu of management skills: In-Branch Product Sales (nothing gets sold out of branch); Executive Performance (CEO review pratfalls to avoid); Training; Finance; Member Development; Digital Marketing; Human Resources (Dealing with toxic employees); Payments; Community Service; and Marketing (creating themed branches to attract Millennial new members).  This is really good stuff!

And, it’s all available on our website, www.creditunionbusiness.com, where it has literally joined 84 earlier monthly issues (I just counted them).  I hate to brag, but I think our website is a treasure trove of useful information for any level of credit union executive.

When we built the basic website more than a decade ago, we included a little known (at the time) Google search box.  This has become a key to a very large library of information on the credit union BUSINESS!  No gossip or politics, just good, honest business information presented in a straight forward manner.  I just did a test of the search function, using the editorial menu from paragraph 2 above, and here is what I found:

There is something for every credit union executive to learn from this website, and the only way to access it is to subscribe.  And, we’ve made it easy to do so by reducing the introductory subscription rate by 66% to only $24 per year.

For just $2 per month,  you will receive this high quality digital magazine every month, and have total access to this font of CU information every day!

You can become a subscriber right now by clicking this link to begin the signup process.

I hope you’ll join now.  Thank you for reading!
