SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 26, 2020 – Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) announced today it received recognition as one of Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers in California. This is the second year Forbes has released this list, which ranks America’s best employers by state and includes all 50 states plus the District of Columbia.
Companies were selected based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 80,000 employees working for organizations with at least 500 employees in the U.S. Golden 1 is the only credit union based in California to make the list the past two years, and is one of three credit unions included nationwide this year.
“Golden 1 is honored to be named as one of America’s best employers by Forbes for the second year in a row,” said Donna Bland, President and CEO. “We are extremely proud of our employees, who are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members across California every day.”
Forbes worked with the marketing research company Statista to identify organizations that were liked best by their employees and have what it takes to attract and retain top talent.
“Despite the challenges we’ve seen in 2020, our team members remained committed to our members, Golden 1, and to each other,” said Heather Andrade-Neumann, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are inspired by this recognition and by all of our employees who continue to make Golden 1 a great place to work.”
Employees were chosen anonymously to participate in the survey.
