JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union recently named Ashleigh Robinson as community relations and member development manager. Robinson, who has been with the financial institution for nearly five years, previously held the role of community relations specialist.
In her new position, Robinson manages the credit union’s community relations statewide, which includes executing specific tactics including surveying members, providing financial education, increasing community involvement, and sharing the benefits of membership among potential new members across the state.
Michelle Troha, senior vice president of marketing at First Florida Credit Union, said Robinson’s experience, leadership qualities and attention to detail made her a natural choice for the role.
“Ashleigh has been a dedicated and vital member of our team, and we can’t wait to her watch her excel in this new role,” Troha said. “Her passion for creating genuine connections with our members will bolster our mission of enriching people every day and help us maintain a positive presence in the communities we serve.”
Before joining First Florida Credit Union in 2016, Robinson worked as a special events and volunteer coordinator at Daniel, a Jacksonville-based nonprofit, and held roles at several other nonprofit organizations.
Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida as well as a master’s certificate in nonprofit leadership and management from the University of Florida.
First Florida Credit Union, headquartered in Jacksonville, operates 17 branches throughout the state of Florida. The organization’s guiding mission is to support its members’ financial aspirations by providing affordable financial products and services with outstanding member service.
