Increasing adoption of mobile devices from the full spectrum of age groups—children to senior citizens—means those same consumers expect to manage most aspects of their life via their device, including managing and protecting their money. According to Forrester Research, by 2016 one-third of adults will own a tablet and nearly 60 percent will own smartphones. And, according to recent Juniper Research findings, by the end of 2017, one billion mobile users will have used their mobile device for banking.
