Community First Credit Union has promoted Craig Gloudemans to Vice President of Finance and welcomed Bill Gunckel as Vice President of Information Security.
Gloudemans’ Community First career began in 2001 as one of the first student tellers at the in-school credit union branch at Appleton West High School during his senior year. While earning an accounting degree from UW-Platteville, he worked part-time and full-time during the summers as accounting support staff. He was hired full-time as a staff accountant in 2005, promoted to Accounting Manager in 2012 and to Assistant VP of Finance in 2019. In his new role, he manages the day-to-day accounting and finance functions, financial reporting, budgeting, audits and finance projects.
“Craig has been a valuable member of the Finance Team for many years and we are pleased to expand his role and influence on the behalf of the credit union and our member-owners,” said Chief Financial Officer Jessica Brown.
Gunckel is a Minnesota native with a business degree from Lakeland University and an MBA from UW-Oshkosh. He has spent the last 23 years working with local companies in the Fox Valley to develop their Information Technology/Information Security programs, most recently with Navitus Health Solutions.
He will lead the strategic enterprise-wide information security program while also providing management and development direction for security initiatives across the credit union environment.
“We are excited to have Bill join our team as his years of experience and leadership offer a wealth of knowledge that helps ensure the highest level of security in all facets of the credit union,” said Chief Technology Officer Scott Steinfort.
